How many guests are allowed on a yacht charter?
U.S. Coast Guard regulations typically allow up to 12 passengers on a bareboat charter, not including the captain and crew.”
Do we need to hire a captain and crew separately?
For bareboat charters, the renter must choose and hire their own USCG-licensed captain and crew. We can provide a list of qualified, approved captains for you to choose from.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Yes! We allow BYOB and outside catering. We also offer full-service catering and drink packages if preferred.
Is smoking allowed on board?
Smoking rules vary by yacht and captain. Some vessels allow it in designated outdoor areas, while others have a strict no-smoking policy. Please confirm at booking.
Are children allowed on the yacht?
Yes, children are welcome! However, minors must be supervised at all times. Life jackets are required for children under 13 years of age, per Coast Guard regulations.
What's the cancellation policy?
Cancellation policies depend on the yacht and are outlined at booking. Typically, there’s a no-refund policy within 7 days of the charter unless weather conditions are deemed unsafe by the captain or marina.
What happens in case of bad weather?
If the U.S. Coast Guard issues a small craft advisory or dangerous weather conditions are present, the charter may be rescheduled or refunded. Light rain usually doesn’t cancel the trip.
Are tips included in the price?
Tips are not included. A standard 15-20% gratuity is recommended and have to be paid up front.
Can we play music?
Of course! Bring your playlist – all the yachts have Bluetooth speakers. We have DJ options as well.
